i know, i know. i haven't posted in weeks. so much to tell. dad finally proposed to mom, so we aren't going to be bastards anymore. nico can't help being a butt-sucking slutmunch, but even SHE won't be called a bastard at playtime.
BASTARD!!!! hahahaha except by me.

gigi and brent were just here. nico slept with them all the time. i thinknico likes that room the best because she knows Sveta will be staying here eventually and she wants to get it all Nice and Cat-haired in advance. just so they have to get a hotel room. nico is obviously Boss.

Ari was here a couple of weeks ago. she's our godmother. but she's not a fairy. that would be cool, we'd chase her around the room like a flashlight.

the weather is awesome. it's not even hot. i like to sit in the sunporch chairs when it's like this. who needs to hide under the bed? i hope it's like this all the time here. winter in this new place especially. 68 degrees. OK mom?

we hear LeighAnn recommended Kenwood Pet Clinic in case of emergency. Anyone know this place? it could be My Weenie we're talking about here. it was... twice!

where's dad? i miss him. it's not the same around here. the bed is so empty at night, and we feel sorry for mom, so we both end up sleeping with her.

so i hear the downstairs neighbors have agreed to feed us while m&d are gone next weekend. i guess that's better than going to new york under the seats again. or going to a kennel and getting kennel cough—that would really blow—unless i caught it by frenching the bung of a cute little kittykat. maybe we should go to the kennel... nico is so asexual. and she's getting fat. the honeymoon is over, i guess.

So I think Nico will have to be my Muse. Mom is too alien, dad isn't here enough, and Nico is, i'll admit, terribly photogenic. Well, the four hours a day when her fat ass isn't sleeping. I have some new photos of her. I call this "cute nico":

There was a cat outside when mom took the trash out this morning. I was watching mom from the bedroom window, and this cat was meowing and friendly but looked desperate and hungry too. What do you do with that? It had a pink-ish-eye and looked dirty but not skinny. She didn't touch it in case it had mange or pinkeye or something else. But it is so SAD when something is basically following you around, asking for help/food/love and you ignore it. I (ahem) i mean, I think MOM felt very mean and inhumane for walking away like it wasn't there. Ugh. Bad feeling. But she keeps saying that when they retire, we're all moving to a farm where we will bring in the stray animals and live together in happiness! Sounds good. I want to get OUTSIDE damnit! WHEEEEEEEE.

well, well. i've been pretty hot in this city. too hot to think, no less blog... i mean... right? things have been good i guess, otherwise. i have some fun photos to share with you, ok? the first one is from when Aunt Ari was in town. she loves us, and we love her too. she used to come hang out with us when mom and dad deserted us! here she is, with love:

and as you may know, dad turned 28 last thursday!!!!! he is almost as old as me (not really, i guess i'm about 35—but still hot, right?) anyway, Nico and I bought dad a sweet painting for the bedroom. Really it was kinda for me, since i'm in there all day long, but don't tell him, OK? I made Nico wrap it:

so, what's new... mom made wild salmon last night, it was good. she gave me some little raw tidbits. the best. nico didn't even eat hers so OH BREOW YOU BETCHA i ate it right out from under her. i've been frisky lately. i'd like to get outside, but it's still fun to run around the apartment and let nico chase me for a while every night.

also happy birthday to aunt gigi. I made you a pee-cake. it's in the litter box.

so we had guests in town this weekend. grandma and grandpa. they're nice.
yesterday had crazy thunderstorms and flash floods in the middle of the day! so crazy. it rained inside the house by a foot or so. mom and dad came home within five minutes but it was already soaked from the open windows. it was a little scary but I didn't hide. I've seen this before. And it's nice to be around my people when weird stuff happens.
Had some nice cuddles once mom finally woke up today. she doesn't ususally sleep so late. but then i came up on the bed and we made out. I stared into her eyes for a long time. Does she know she's the one? Purrrrrrr. But finally she got up. Not fair! oh well. time to nap under the bed! TTFN. Iggs

this place is pretty cool. I like the sunporch more and more. It has windows ON EVERY SIDE, if you include the french doors. Sweet, huh? Why don't you bring your cat-lovin-ass over here and give me some lovin' on the sunporch. I'll sit in mom's chair and you can sit in dad's. Nico will sit on the floor since she's just a dumb cat.
Really, this place has windows everywhere! I think I like it now. And it's nice that mom's around all day, even if i'm mostly under the bed it keeps Nico occupied.
OK, I need thoughts on collars. Mom is talking about putting them on us in case we get out -- but when would we get out? I guess her argument is, if we DID by chance, there wouldn't be a way of finding us except microchips that link us to brooklyn and the UK. scary. but i think i'd HATE a collar. REOWWWR!

Nico looks a little depressed. Is it because I sleep under the bed without her all day? I don't know. But i'm a little worried. Can she go through ups and downs like a human? Maybe she AND mom are both getting their periods. Girls are so weird. GRRoss.

I wonder if Nico really had kittens. The pound wasn't sure but thought she might have. But she doesn't have big tee-ta's. Mom's are bigger, but she didn't have kittens. I like mom's better. :)

I wish i could have made some kittens. Not with Nico, that's gross. She's like my Meg White. But why'd they have to take my stuff, eh? None of Mom's girlfriends flirt with me. I like Sveta. MEWORRRRR, mama!

air conditioners--i love them and i hate them. sure it's nice to sleep on the bed in the cool at night, but why do mom and dad have to close all the windows now? they must know i barely fit in the windowsill when it's closed. and now i can't smell outside. i am mad. they're lucky i'm not a vengeful kitty or i could go sneak a pee on a rug!

just woke up. mom and dad set up the a/c in the bedroom last night and it is very nice. that little hobag and I both slept on the bed (but she was closer to the feet and I kinda cuddled. OOH That's right!) We had some nice family cuddle time this morning and then mom got up to feed us. It's nicer sleeping on the bed than under it, especially in the cool. Too bad they had to close the window though. OK time to lounge in the front for wakeup time. IGGY

Hi I'm iggy. There is nothing to do here in Minneapolis. I mostly sleep under the beds during the day and prowl and howl in the evening. I am looking for some good entertainment. Do you know anyone to set me up with?
